1、 Product Overview

SVC type low-voltage reactive power automatic compensation device is mainly used for reactive power compensation on the low-voltage side of outdoor power transformers. It consists of capacitors, filter reactors, contactors, composite switches, fuses, power factor automatic controllers, main switches, ventilation systems, and cabinets. It plays a very important role in improving system voltage level, reducing line losses, improving system power factor, improving the utilization rate of power transformers, and enhancing system voltage stability. It has a timely and rapid response, operates without power consumption, and effectively suppresses switching inrush currents, improving the operational safety performance of the reactive power compensation device. The device also has overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, and phase loss protection functions, and can display three-phase voltage, current, active power, reactive power, power factor, control parameters, etc. Widely used in residential areas, industrial and mining, enterprises, medical treatment, scientific research, oil and coal fields, petrochemical and other public facilities, especially high-power and frequently started industrial equipment such as electric welding machines, spot welding machines, cranes, etc.

 

2、 Structural features and functions

● High compensation accuracy

The compensated system power factor is better than 0.98-0.99 (or design value);

● Fast response

For a 50 Hz power grid, the system response time should not exceed 4 ms, and the completion of a single switching process should not exceed 20 ms, with the switching frequency being used by the user

Dynamic compensation (up to 50 times/second) is achieved due to changes in electrical load.

● No "pollution" during switching

The thyristor group adopts imported thyristor chips, and the switching process adopts zero potential technology. Capacitor switching realizes zero crossing detection, zero voltage switching, zero voltage switching. During switching, there is no surge current, voltage impact, and high harmonic generation. It is safe and reliable in operation, with long service life, and ensures safe power supply for the system.

● Three-phase asymmetric compensation function

When the user's power load is unbalanced, quantitative investment is made based on the actual needs of each phase to achieve the best compensation effect.

● Filtering circuit

The RC absorption circuit filters out higher harmonics to achieve no switching oscillation and no compensation dead zone.

● Fully automatic detection and operation of the controller

The controller has line fault protection functions such as automatic detection and tracking, overvoltage blocking, phase loss protection, undervoltage protection, and output short circuit protection,

When the system voltage is too high or too low, the controller automatically exits operation. The trouble-free operation time of the controller shall not be less than 12 years.

● Data communication

With RS232/RS485 physical communication interface, the communication mode can be on-site acquisition (point to point) or remote acquisition (network).

● Temperature control protection

When the temperature of the device exceeds 40 * C, the heat dissipation device automatically starts to implement forced ventilation.
